National Refrigerated Air Dryers

This type of dryers, the saturated compressed air pre cooled in the pre cooler/ Reheater by the out going cooled dry air with out any additional energy requirement. The inlet air is further cooled in the evaporator to the required DEW Point. The cold air is then reheated when it passed back through the Pre cooler/ Reheater. Low temperature refrigerant is supplied to the Evaporator by a refrigerant Compressor and condenser.

The Thermostatic Expansion Value and the Hot Gas Bypass Value match operation of the refrigeration system to the compressed cooling load. In the Evaporator, heat is transferred from the compressed air to the refrigerant For various industrial applications a dew point of the order of +4° C at line pressure is sufficient for the smooth operation and production. In such cases a refrigerated type dryer is a reliable and economical way of eliminating the moisture. In this system the air is cooled down to +2° C to +4° C at line pressure which equivalent to -18° C to -22° C at atmospheric pressure.
